I am a teacher, instructor, facilitator, whatever you may want to call it. I have been teaching for more than 20 years, and my students have come from different countries and ethnic groups.  I have been an instructor in India, The Sultanate Of Oman, and now, in Canada. It has been a very fulfilling journey, indeed.

My first experience working with high school students was in Oman, where I taught History, Geography, and English, amongst other subjects. I was also an ESL teacher at The British Council for a while there.

When I came to Vancouver, I started at a school helping ESL Intermediate students. I was associated with that school for 15 years. My lessons revolved around grammar,  communication, reading, vocabulary, and business, but my favourite has always been test preparation (test prep) courses. 

I started teaching IELTS  over 15 years ago and that included reading,listening,writing and speaking. In addition, I was responsible for the writing class for both intermediate and advanced students. Preparing for an exam is not easy, and often students need help in IELTS Task 1 and Task 2.  This is where I help students to prepare and excel and get the band scores they require.

For me, teaching is not a job, rather, it is helping others to fulfill their goals and making sure they feel loved and cared for.
